Team Recruitment is currently recruiting an experienced 1st Engineer for an offshore vessel assignment in Las Palmas.
The successful candidate will support the Chief Engineer with engine-room operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and safe operation of propulsion and auxiliary machinery.
• Assist the Chief Engineer with engine-room operations
• Supervise and perform planned maintenance activities
• Monitor propulsion and auxiliary machinery
• Troubleshoot technical and mechanical defects
• Support repairs, inspections, and machinery overhauls
• Maintain engineering records and operational documentation
• Ensure compliance with company HSE and maintenance procedures
Requirements:
• Valid First Engineer Certificate of Competency as applicable
• Relevant offshore vessel or marine engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of propulsion and auxiliary machinery
• Previous experience in a similar engineering role
• Valid STCW certification package
• Valid offshore safety certificates where applicable
• Valid Passport and Medical Certificate
• Good English communication skills
• Strong technical and safety awareness
• Physically and medically fit for offshore work
• Available for ASAP joining
