Description

Responsibilities:

-Maintain a high level of awareness to all operations and power systems

-Complete all logs, forms, and check sheet in an efficient manner

-Assist in the training of assistant DPOs

-Operate the manual DP controls when needed

-Troubleshoot the DP system when needed




Requirements:

-Driver’s License or Passport

-U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

-Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch (STCW II/1 OOW Unlimited)

-SCG Merchant Mariners Credential (MMC)

-DP Operator’s Certificate –DPO (Unlimited) (Nautical Inst.)

-TWIC

-USCG Medical Certificate

-Ballast Control Operator (BCO)(46 CFR 15.520)(Q4000/Q5000)

-VPDSD
