We are seeking a Dynamic Positioning Operator (DPO)!
JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
- Monitor and communicate DP equipment and operational issues to Marine Management, ensuring full functionality and maintenance per company requirements.
- Assist in completing ISM documentation, maintaining the shift handover book, and coordinating with department heads on operational matters.
- Oversee vessel movements in DP, focusing on position, sensors, thruster response, and available power; respond to weather conditions and other vessel movements that may affect operations.
- Ensure proper operation of navigation equipment, maintain Bridge/Control Room readiness, and update navigational charts and publications as required.
- Assist with maintenance of lifesaving, firefighting equipment, and emergency duties as directed by the Senior D.P.O.
- Administer Permit to Work processes, handle vessel-related administration, and carry out other duties as directed by Senior D.P.O. and Marine Management.
