General description
The Deckpusher is the Person Responsible for Lifting Operations (PRLO) onboard. The Deckpusher is responsible for daily deck operations, and plans, manages and coordinates task execution. The Deckpusher is a senior leader for the deck crews.
Responsibility
Specific tasks include, but are not limited to:
Perform other work as directed
Emergency responsibilities as per station bill
Supervise:
Supervise lifting and other deck operations
Supervise helicopter operations onboard, as well as personnel transport to/from the rig by other means
Responsible for:
Planning lifting and other deck operations in liaison with Client and Tourpusher
Planning back-loading in liaison with Logistics Coordinator
Preparing deck loading plans
Acting as HLO, when required
Acting as PRLO
Relieving Crane Operators as required
Lifting gear locker and lifting equipment management
Signing off container checklists for arrival and departure
