Reliant Oilfield is currently recruiting an experienced Barge Master / Engineer for offshore marine and deck operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe management of barge operations, marine activities, equipment readiness, stability, and coordination of offshore personnel.
Job Responsibilities
Manage daily barge and marine operations.
Coordinate deck, lifting, maintenance, and offshore activities.
Monitor vessel stability, ballast, and operational readiness.
Supervise offshore crew and contractors.
Ensure compliance with marine and HSE procedures.
Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and inspections.
Maintain operational and technical documentation.
Coordinate with project management and offshore teams.
Requirements
Proven experience as Barge Master / Barge Engineer.
Previous offshore barge or construction vessel experience.
Relevant marine or engineering qualification.
Valid STCW certification where applicable.
Valid offshore safety certificates.
Valid Passport and Medical Certificate.
Good English communication skills.
Strong leadership and HSE awareness.
Physically and medically fit for offshore work.
