A prestigious Private & Charter Motor Yacht is seeking an experienced Chief Officer to oversee deck operations and assist the Captain in the safe management of the vessel.
The successful candidate will supervise deck crew, coordinate navigation watches, safety management, maintenance planning, and guest-related deck activities while ensuring compliance with international maritime and yacht industry standards.
Job Responsibilities
Assist the Captain in daily vessel operations
Supervise all deck crew activities
Oversee navigation watches and passage planning
Coordinate deck maintenance and exterior presentation
Manage tender operations and water sports equipment
Conduct safety drills and crew training
Ensure compliance with STCW, SOLAS, MARPOL, and ISM requirements
Deliver exceptional owner and guest service
Requirements
Valid Chief Officer CoC appropriate for vessel size
Valid STCW 2010 certification package
Previous experience as Chief Officer onboard Private or Charter Motor Yachts
Valid passport
Valid ENG1 or equivalent medical certificate
Excellent English communication skills
Strong leadership and organizational abilities
Excellent safety awareness
