A private/charter Motor Yacht is seeking an experienced Chief Officer to support the Captain with navigation, deck operations, crew management, safety, and yacht maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist the Captain with safe navigation and vessel operations
• Supervise deck crew and coordinate daily deck activities
• Manage deck maintenance, safety equipment, and inventories
• Support mooring, anchoring, tender, and water-sports operations
• Conduct safety drills and maintain emergency readiness
• Ensure compliance with yacht safety procedures and maritime regulations
Requirements
• Valid Chief Officer / appropriate CoC
• Previous Chief Officer experience on Motor Yachts / Superyachts preferred
• Valid STCW certification package
• Valid ENG1 or equivalent medical certificate
• Valid passport and appropriate US visa/work authorization where required
• Good English communication skills
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Professional attitude and excellent guest-service awareness
