A private/charter Motor Yacht is seeking an experienced Sole Engineer to manage the yacht's engineering operations and ensure the safe and reliable performance of all machinery and technical systems onboard.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planned maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintaining engineering records while supporting smooth day-to-day yacht operations.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Manage all engineering operations and machinery onboard
• Maintain main engines, generators, auxiliary systems, and technical equipment
• Perform planned and corrective maintenance
• Troubleshoot mechanical and technical defects
• Maintain engineering records, inventories, and spare parts
• Ensure compliance with yacht safety and environmental procedures
Requirements:
• Proven Sole Engineer experience on Motor Yachts / Superyachts
• Valid Engineer Certificate of Competency appropriate for the yacht
• Valid STCW certification package
• Valid ENG1 or equivalent seafarer's medical certificate
• Valid Passport and Seaman's Book where applicable
• Strong mechanical and technical knowledge
• Good English communication skills
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work independently
