Job Description
A leading international cruise operator is seeking an experienced Electrician III/7 (Hotel) to join its cruise ship fleet. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the vessel's hotel electrical systems, ensuring uninterrupted operation of accommodation, entertainment, catering, and public facilities while complying with international maritime safety standards.
Job Responsibilities
Maintain and repair hotel electrical systems and equipment
Troubleshoot electrical faults onboard
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
Support hotel operations by ensuring continuous electrical supply
Maintain electrical panels, lighting, and power distribution systems
Follow safety procedures and company maintenance standards
Maintain maintenance records and reports
Work closely with the Electrical and Engineering Departments
Requirements
Previous experience as Hotel Electrician onboard Cruise Ships preferred
Valid STCW 2010 certification package
Electrical Certificate of Competency or equivalent qualification
Valid passport, seaman's book, and medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong electrical troubleshooting abilities
Ability to work in an international crew environment
