Job Description
A leading international cruise line is seeking an experienced Assistant Electrician (Engine) to join its engineering department onboard modern cruise ships. The successful candidate will assist with the maintenance and repair of engine room electrical equipment, ensuring safe and reliable vessel operations.
Job Responsibilities
Assist with maintenance of engine room electrical systems
Troubleshoot electrical equipment under supervision
Perform preventive maintenance on electrical machinery
Support electrical repairs and installations
Maintain engine room lighting and power systems
Follow planned maintenance schedules
Ensure compliance with HSE and company procedures
Maintain maintenance records
Requirements
Previous experience as Assistant Electrician onboard ships preferred
Valid STCW 2010 certification package
Marine electrical qualification
Valid passport, seaman's book, and medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Basic knowledge of marine electrical systems
Ability to work within multinational engineering teams
