• Required for manoeuvring mooring stations, as delegated by Staff Captain.
• Maintain good cooperation and communication with watch-keeping deck and engine officer,
especially during freshwater bunkering;
• Be familiar with ship’s emergency plan, the muster list, the ship’s code of conduct and the SQM;
• Perform safety duties as assigned by emergency position and crew muster list;
• Familiarise with Bosun position, in order to take over when opportunity arises. May also be required
to cover duties of any deck rating;
• Ensure strict compliance with T&A as per posted schedules;
