Job Description

Arrow Yacht is currently recruiting an experienced Second Engineer to join a Private Motor Yacht operating on worldwide itineraries.

The successful candidate will assist the Chief Engineer in the operation, maintenance, and repair of all propulsion, auxiliary machinery, and technical systems while ensuring safe and efficient yacht operations.

This opportunity is ideal for marine engineers with previous luxury yacht experience who are seeking a long-term career in the superyacht industry.

Position Available
Second Engineer — USD 6,500/month

Job Responsibilities
Assist the Chief Engineer with engine room operations.
Maintain propulsion, auxiliary, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Perform planned preventive maintenance.
Troubleshoot and repair technical equipment.
Maintain engineering logs and technical documentation.
Ensure compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code, and company procedures.
Participate in emergency drills and safety inspections.
Maintain engine room cleanliness and operational readiness.

Requirements
General Requirements
Previous experience as Second Engineer on Private or Luxury Motor Yachts preferred.
Valid STCW 2010 certification package.
Valid Engineer Certificate of Competency (CoC).
Valid Passport and Medical Certificate.
Good English communication skills.
Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
Physically and medically fit for sea service.
