A luxury Motor Yacht is recruiting an experienced 2nd Engineer to support the engineering department and ensure safe and reliable operation of onboard machinery and technical systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with engine-room operations and maintenance
• Maintain main engines, generators, and auxiliary machinery
• Perform planned and corrective maintenance
• Troubleshoot mechanical and technical defects
• Maintain engineering records and spare parts
• Follow yacht safety and environmental procedures
Requirements
• Valid Engineer Certificate of Competency appropriate to the yacht
• Previous 2nd Engineer experience on Motor Yachts / Superyachts preferred
• Valid STCW certification package
• Valid ENG1 or equivalent medical certificate
• Valid Passport and relevant documentation
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Good English communication skills
