A luxury Motor Yacht is recruiting an experienced 2nd Engineer to support the engineering department and ensure the safe and efficient operation of onboard machinery and technical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with maintenance and operation of engines and auxiliary machinery
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance
• Monitor machinery performance and report defects
• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs
• Maintain technical records and spare parts
• Follow yacht safety and environmental procedures
Requirements:
• Previous 2nd Engineer experience on Motor Yachts / Superyachts preferred
• Valid Engineer CoC appropriate to the position
• Valid STCW certification package
• Valid ENG1 or equivalent medical certificate
• Valid Passport and Seaman's Book where applicable
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Good English communication skills
• Previous luxury yacht experience is an advantage
