Job Description
The 2nd Engineer is responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, and monitoring of engine room machinery and systems. The role supports the Chief Engineer in ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant vessel operations in accordance with Italian flag and EU maritime regulations.
Requirements
Valid Certificate of Competency as 2nd Engineer
Previous experience on Ro-Ro or Ro-Pax vessels preferred
Valid medical certificate
Knowledge of engine room operations and safety procedures
Ability to work effectively in a multinational crew
