Job Description:
OSM Thome is seeking a qualified 2nd Engineer (2/E) to join our luxury passenger cruise vessels navigating Europe’s enchanting waters. The 2nd Engineer will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and repairing engine room machinery, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all technical systems onboard.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Monitor and oversee the operation of all engine room machinery and equipment
• Perform maintenance and repairs on engines, generators, and related systems
• Assist in the safe and efficient daily operation of the engine room
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
• Support the Chief Engineer in supervising technical crew

Requirements:
• Valid Certificate of Competency for 2nd Engineer
• Previous experience in a similar role on passenger or cruise vessels
• Strong problem-solving abilities and capability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate (preferred)
