We are seeking a qualified and motivated 2nd Engineer to join our technical team onboard. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable engine room operations, ensuring compliance with international maritime standards while supporting vessel performance and passenger safety.
Qualifications & Competence:
Minimum 1 year experience as 2nd Engineer on a medium or large vessel (passenger ship experience preferred but not required).
Valid Second Engineer Officer COC – Motor & Steam – STCW Reg. III/2 or above (higher certificate rewarded with additional compensation).
Valid Basic Safety Training (STCW).
Valid Seafarer’s Medical Certificate and COVID-19 vaccination certificate.
National Passport valid for at least 12 months.
Fluent English (verbal and written).
US Visa C1/D preferred but not required at the time of application (must be obtained prior to embarkation).
