MYS Aust is currently seeking an experienced Chief Steward to join a Private Motor Yacht operating worldwide.
The successful candidate will manage the interior department, supervise stewarding staff, coordinate guest services, maintain luxury accommodation standards, and ensure exceptional hospitality throughout each voyage.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced Chief Stewards with previous Private or Luxury Motor Yacht experience.
Job Responsibilities
Supervise and manage the interior department
Deliver first-class guest service and hospitality
Coordinate housekeeping, laundry, and food & beverage service
Train and supervise interior crew members
Manage interior inventories and provisioning
Prepare guest cabins and public areas to luxury standards
Participate in emergency drills and onboard safety procedures
Ensure compliance with company policies and yacht service standards
Requirements
Previous experience as Chief Steward onboard Private or Motor Yachts
Valid STCW certification package
Valid passport and seafarer's medical certificate
Excellent English communication skills
Strong leadership and organizational skills
High-level hospitality and silver service experience
Professional appearance and guest-oriented attitude
Physically and medically fit for sea service
