Job Description
A prestigious Luxury Motor Yacht operating in European waters is seeking an experienced Executive / Head Chef to lead its galley operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional fine dining experiences for owners and guests while managing all aspects of menu planning, provisioning, food preparation, hygiene, and galley administration in accordance with luxury yacht standards.
This opportunity is ideal for highly skilled chefs with previous superyacht or luxury hospitality experience.
Job Responsibilities
Plan and prepare high-quality international and gourmet cuisine
Design customized menus based on guest preferences and dietary requirements
Manage food purchasing, inventory, and provisioning
Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation
Supervise galley operations and kitchen organization
Control food costs and minimize waste
Ensure excellent presentation and service quality
Work closely with the Captain and Interior Team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
Requirements
Previous experience as Executive Chef or Head Chef onboard Motor Yachts or Superyachts preferred
Valid STCW 2010 certification package
Valid passport
Valid ENG1 or equivalent seafarer's medical certificate
Culinary qualifications from a recognized institution
Excellent English communication skills
Strong knowledge of international cuisine, fine dining, and food presentation
Ability to work independently under pressure
High standards of professionalism, creativity, and organization
