Positions, aligns, fits and welds together parts using jigs, welding torch and hand tools.
Verifies conformance of workpiece to specifications, using square, ruler and measuring tape.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Welders Required Skills (all levels):
Produce welded assemblies from fabricated components per custom or stock specifications
Welding a variety of metals using a combination of MIG, TIG, and ARC welding techniques
Position, align, fit and weld parts using common weld shop tooling
Understand proper safety and abiding by all quality rules instructed
Resolve problems using established procedures
Create solutions, procedures, and policies while working with various departments
Intermediate understanding of assigned work order/stage requirements and goals
