Zaki Al Zayor Marine Services Co. and Sea Eagles Group of Companies are currently seeking an experienced Messman to join a Maintenance Utility Vessel (MUV) supporting offshore operations.
The successful candidate will assist the galley department, maintain mess rooms and accommodation areas, support food service, and help ensure a clean, hygienic, and comfortable living environment for all crew members.
This opportunity is ideal for candidates with previous shipboard or hotel experience who are committed to delivering high standards of hospitality onboard.
Job Responsibilities
Assist the Cook with meal preparation and food service
Clean and maintain the galley, mess room, and pantry
Keep crew accommodation and common areas clean and organized
Wash dishes, kitchen utensils, and galley equipment
Handle food supplies and provisions safely
Assist during stores loading and inventory checks
Participate in emergency drills and safety meetings
Follow company HSE policies and food hygiene standards
Requirements
Previous experience as Messman onboard ships or in the hotel industry
Previous experience onboard MUV, Supply Vessel, Utility Vessel, or AHTS is preferred
Valid STCW 2010 certification package
Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
ARAMCO approval preferred
All certificates must be valid
Good English communication skills
Good housekeeping and hospitality skills
Strong teamwork and safety awareness
Physically and medically fit for offshore service
