Job Description
Novo Sdn Bhd is currently seeking an experienced Medic to join an Accommodation Work Boat (AWB) DP2 Vessel supporting offshore operations in Brunei.
The successful candidate will provide primary medical care to crew members, maintain onboard medical facilities, manage medical supplies, and support emergency response procedures while ensuring compliance with offshore health and safety standards.
This opportunity is ideal for offshore Medics with previous experience onboard offshore support vessels or drilling units.
Job Responsibilities
Provide medical care and first aid to crew members
Conduct routine health assessments
Maintain onboard medical equipment and supplies
Respond to medical emergencies
Maintain confidential medical records
Coordinate medical evacuations when required
Participate in emergency drills and safety meetings
Ensure compliance with offshore medical and HSE procedures
Requirements
Minimum 12 months of offshore experience as Medic
Valid offshore Medic qualification
Valid OPITO BOSIET
Valid offshore medical certificate
Valid STCW certification where applicable
Good English communication skills
Strong emergency response and medical care skills
Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities
Physically and medically fit for offshore service
