A bachelor's or a master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
3-5 years of relevant experience.
Strong passion for marine geology and coastal engineering.
Familiarity with geotechnical principles, including soil mechanics, sedimentology, and geological hazards.
Basic knowledge of geotechnical laboratory techniques and equipment for soil and sediment analysis is desirable.
Proficiency in using geotechnical software and data analysis tools is a plus.
Knowledge of AutoCAD or GIS a plus.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with colleagues.
Eagerness to learn and develop skills in geotechnical research methodologies and data analysis techniques.
Commitment to safety protocols and ethical research practices in marine geotechnical investigations.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Valid state driver’s license.
