Job Descriptions:

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the following positions onboard a vessel operating in [Location]:

2nd Officer DPO
Chief Engineer
AB (Able Seaman)
Crane Operator
Deckhand
Cook
2nd Cook

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

2nd Officer DPO:

• Assisting in the navigation and positioning of the vessel
• Managing dynamic positioning systems (DPS) and ensuring operational accuracy
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and emergency preparedness
• Maintaining navigational equipment and records
• Assisting the Chief Officer in the vessel’s daily operations

Chief Engineer:

• Overseeing and managing all engineering operations onboard
• Ensuring the proper maintenance, repair, and operation of all mechanical and electrical systems
• Supervising the engineering team and providing training
• Monitoring machinery conditions and performing regular inspections
• Reporting technical issues to the vessel’s master

AB (Able Seaman):

• Assisting with deck operations, including mooring, cargo operations, and maintenance
• Operating deck machinery safely and efficiently
• Performing routine inspections and cleaning of the vessel
• Assisting with safety drills and emergency procedures

Crane Operator:

• Safely operating the crane during offshore operations
• Performing regular crane maintenance and inspections
• Assisting in loading/unloading cargo and materials
• Ensuring compliance with safety protocols for crane operations

Deckhand:

• Assisting in deck operations such as mooring, anchoring, and maintenance
• Operating deck machinery and performing regular inspections
• Ensuring safety equipment is in good condition
• Assisting with general maintenance and cleaning onboard

Cook:

• Preparing meals for the crew in line with dietary and safety requirements
• Maintaining kitchen hygiene standards and food safety protocols
• Managing inventory and ensuring stock levels are adequate
• Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals for crew

2nd Cook:

• Assisting the Cook in meal preparation and serving
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen
• Managing food stocks and supplies
• Ensuring food safety standards are met

Requirements:

• 2nd Officer DPO:
• Valid STCW II/1 CoC
• DP Maintenance certificate (DPO)
• Relevant vessel experience
• Ability to work in high-pressure situations
• Good English communication skills

• Chief Engineer:
• Chief Engineer CoC (STCW III/2)
• Relevant vessel experience
• Valid ENG1 medical certificate
• Strong technical and leadership skills
• Familiarity with [specific machinery or systems, if applicable]

• AB (Able Seaman):
• Valid AB CoC
• STCW BST and ENG1
• Previous experience on similar vessels
• Basic safety and firefighting training

• Crane Operator:
• Stage 3 Crane Operator License
• BOSIET CA+EBS
• Relevant offshore experience
• Valid STCW certificates

• Deckhand:
• Valid STCW BST and ENG1
• Previous experience as a deckhand is advantageous
• Ability to work as part of a team

• Cook:
• Relevant cooking experience, preferably onboard vessels
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Ability to work in a small, confined space kitchen environment

• 2nd Cook:
• Previous experience as a cook or 2nd cook onboard
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Ability to assist in kitchen operations
