Job Description
Novo Sdn Bhd is currently seeking an experienced Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) to join an Accommodation Work Boat (AWB) DP2 Vessel supporting offshore operations in Malaysia Offshore.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining electrical, electronic, automation, DP, communication, and control systems while ensuring the safe and reliable operation of all onboard electrical equipment.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced ETOs with previous offshore support vessel or DP vessel experience.
Job Responsibilities
Maintain electrical, electronic, and automation systems
Troubleshoot and repair vessel electrical equipment
Support Dynamic Positioning electrical systems
Perform planned preventive maintenance
Maintain power generation and distribution systems
Monitor alarms and vessel monitoring systems
Participate in emergency drills and safety meetings
Ensure compliance with company HSE procedures and international maritime regulations
Requirements
Minimum 24 months of experience as ETO on AWB DP2 or equivalent offshore vessels
Valid Electro-Technical Officer Certificate of Competency
Valid STCW 2010 certification package
Valid OPITO BOSIET
Valid passport and offshore medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong electrical and automation troubleshooting skills
Excellent safety awareness and teamwork abilities
Physically and medically fit for offshore service
