Select Offshore is currently seeking an experienced Assistant Electro-Technical Officer (Assistant ETO) to join an Offshore Vessel operating worldwide.
The successful candidate will assist the ETO with the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of the vessel's electrical, electronic, automation, and communication systems while ensuring safe and reliable vessel operations.
This opportunity is ideal for marine electrical professionals with previous offshore experience.
Job Responsibilities
Assist with maintenance of electrical and automation systems
Troubleshoot electrical and electronic equipment
Maintain navigation and communication systems
Support planned maintenance programs
Perform inspections of electrical installations
Maintain maintenance records and spare parts inventory
Participate in emergency drills and safety meetings
Ensure compliance with maritime electrical safety standards
Requirements
Valid STCW 2010 certification package
ETO or Electrical Officer certification preferred
Previous Offshore Vessel experience in electrical maintenance
Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
Excellent teamwork and safety awareness
Physically and medically fit for offshore service
