This position will oversee the proper execution of the offshore operations related to the Pre-commissioning discipline including gauging, flooding, cleaning, hydrotesting, leak testing, umbilical’s testing (Electrical, Optical and hydraulics), dewatering, and drying.
Responsibilities:
- Write and supervise the writing of any Pre-commissioning technical documentation, including interfacing with subcontractors for the preparation of the procedures
- Run a performance check (FAT and SIT) of Pre-commissioning subcontractor equipment spread
- Perform quality check of supplied equipment and spares
- Ensure equipment supplied are fit for purpose and in line with project requirements/specifications and subcontractor spare level is sufficient for the tasks to be executed
- Organize Pre-commissioning equipment mobilization
- Participate testing activities on site and control the quality, costs, and the timing of the subcontracted activities
- Propose operation optimization where necessary, report any discrepancy with the project requirements and prepare any management of change (MOC, STQ)
- Review applicable procedures for the project and ensure the proper follow-up on site of the approved documentation by all involved parties
- Oversee internal interfaces with other disciplines, VMT and/or other sites
- Manage the resolution of Non-Conformity (NCR) at site supporting Construction and / or Fabrication activities effectively interfacing project Team, Client, and Vendor
