Provide technical leadership for the design of electrical systems for offshore floating wind turbines, including the integration with onshore grid systems and offshore micro-grid systems.
Develop engineering standards and electrical specifications, which will then be adapted for specific projects.
Participate in concept development and tenders.
Take on a lead role in project execution, through to construction and commissioning.
Perform Electrical Analysis Studies, i.e. Electrical Load Studies, Cable Sizing, Short Circuit Analysis, etc.
Prepare project specific documentation, i.e. Electrical Single Line Diagrams, Equipment Specifications, Datasheets, Material Requisitions and Technical Bid Evaluations.
Interfacing with engineers from other disciplines to ensure project requirements are met.
Manage suppliers and contractors for electrical equipment and construction activities.
Respond to various construction issues, Technical Queries, etc.
Contribute to Operating and Maintenance manuals.
Provide guidance and technical leadership within the Organization Floating Offshore Wind Team in relation to electrical engineering topics.
