Job Description:
We are currently looking for skilled Electricians to join Solstad’s offshore fleet in Norway. As an Electrician, you will play a key role in the maintenance and operation of electrical systems onboard. You will work closely with engineers and technical personnel to ensure that all equipment functions optimally and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Conduct regular inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
• Ensure all electrical equipment complies with safety standards and regulations
• Diagnose faults in electrical systems and implement effective solutions
• Collaborate with technical personnel on system upgrades and modifications
• Document all work in accordance with company procedures
Requirements:
• Valid ETO-78 certificate (mandatory)
• Relevant experience in electrical engineering or similar field
• Valid STCW certificates & medical fitness certificate
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and technical understanding
• Proficiency in English (Norwegian language skills are an advantage)
