Atlas Next Wave is currently recruiting an experienced Electrician for a Jack-up Vessel operating in the United Kingdom.
The successful candidate will maintain and repair vessel electrical systems, generators, motors, switchboards, and offshore electrical equipment while ensuring safe and reliable operations.
This opportunity is ideal for marine electricians with offshore experience who are eligible to work in the UK.
Job Responsibilities
Maintain vessel electrical systems
Troubleshoot electrical faults
Repair motors, generators, and switchboards
Perform preventive electrical maintenance
Maintain maintenance records
Support offshore operations
Participate in emergency drills
Ensure compliance with HSE and maritime regulations
Requirements
Valid STCW certification package
Marine Electrician qualification
GWO Working at Heights & Manual Handling
HUET, BOSIET or FOET
Chester Step Test
Helideck Landing Officer Training
Eligible to work in the United Kingdom
Previous offshore or Jack-up Vessel experience preferred
Valid passport and medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
