We are seeking an experienced Chief Officer (DPO) to join the ISLAND SAPPHIRE – a modern DP2 Diving Support Vessel operating in European waters. The Chief Officer will be responsible for navigation, deck operations, and vessel safety, with a strong focus on supporting gangway and heavy lift operations.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Supervise bridge and deck operations, ensuring vessel safety and compliance.
• Operate the Dynamic Positioning (DP) system during diving and heavy-lift activities.
• Support gangway operations and vessel positioning alongside offshore platforms.
• Maintain navigational watch and oversee crew performance on deck.
• Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and company procedures.
Requirements:
• Valid Chief Officer DPO Certificate (Full DP or Limited DP)
• Minimum 1 year offshore experience on DSV or similar DP2 vessels
• Valid Schengen Visa
• Proven experience in Gangway / Heavy Lift Operations
• Valid STCW certificates, Seaman Book, and Medical Fitness Certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
