We are currently recruiting an experienced Deckhand to join a Tugboat operating in the UK.
The position is offered on a 4-week contract, with a planned start date of 8 September. Candidates must have previous experience working as a Deckhand on push/tow tugs and must be legally eligible to work in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assisting with towing, pushing, mooring, and other tugboat deck operations.
Carrying out routine deck maintenance and equipment checks.
Assisting with line handling and safe deck operations.
Following onboard safety, HSE, and company procedures.
Supporting the Master and deck team during daily vessel operations.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Deckhand on push/tow tugs.
Relevant maritime experience and qualifications.
Valid STCW certificates, where applicable.
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
Eligible to work in the UK – mandatory.
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book.
Good English communication skills.
Ability to join on 8 September.
