Select Offshore is currently seeking an experienced Deckhand to join Offshore Support Vessels operating in UK waters.
The successful candidate will assist with deck operations, cargo handling, mooring activities, vessel maintenance, and offshore project support while ensuring compliance with international maritime regulations and company HSE procedures.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced deck ratings with previous Offshore Support Vessel experience.
Job Responsibilities
Assist with mooring and anchoring operations
Support cargo loading and unloading activities
Perform deck maintenance, painting, and preservation work
Operate deck equipment under supervision
Maintain deck cleanliness and operational readiness
Participate in emergency drills
Ensure compliance with HSE policies and maritime regulations
Work effectively within a multinational crew
Requirements
Valid STCW certification package
Previous Offshore Support Vessel experience preferred
Valid passport and seafarer's medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong teamwork and safety awareness
Physically and medically fit for offshore service
