We are seeking an experienced Deckhand to join a Hopper Dredger operating in the UK. The successful candidate will support safe deck operations, maintenance, mooring activities and general vessel operations.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out routine deck maintenance and cleaning.
Assist with mooring and unmooring operations.
Handle deck equipment safely.
Assist with maintenance, painting and preservation work.
Participate in emergency drills and safety activities.
Follow company procedures and offshore safety requirements.
Requirements
European passport – mandatory.
Valid UK Work Permit – mandatory.
Valid STCW Basic Safety Training (BST).
STCW II/5 – mandatory.
Valid CoC, where applicable.
Valid Seaman’s Book.
Valid Security Awareness certificate.
Valid STCW Medical.
GWO Working at Heights certificate.
GWO Sea Survival certificate.
Valid OGUK Medical.
Relevant deck experience.
Good command of English.
Availability according to project requirements.
