Select Offshore is currently seeking an experienced Chief Cook to join Offshore Support Vessels operating in UK waters.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing nutritious, high-quality meals for crew members, managing galley operations, supervising catering personnel, controlling provisions, and maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene during offshore operations.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced offshore catering professionals with previous Offshore Support Vessel experience.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare daily meals for vessel crew
Plan menus according to operational requirements
Manage galley inventory and food provisioning
Supervise galley personnel
Maintain food hygiene and sanitation standards
Control food costs and reduce waste
Comply with food safety regulations
Support safe offshore operations
Requirements
Valid STCW certification package
Previous experience as Chief Cook onboard Offshore Support Vessels preferred
Valid passport and seafarer's medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong culinary and organizational skills
Excellent hygiene and food safety knowledge
Physically and medically fit for offshore service
