A leading offshore company is currently seeking an experienced Chief Cook to join an Accommodation Vessel supporting offshore operations worldwide.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals for officers and crew, managing galley operations, maintaining food inventories, and ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and food safety onboard.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced offshore catering personnel with previous Accommodation Vessel or DP Offshore Vessel experience.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare daily meals for officers and crew
Plan nutritious and balanced menus
Manage galley operations and food inventories
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the galley
Monitor food storage and provisioning
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
Participate in emergency drills and safety meetings
Promote a healthy and comfortable living environment onboard
Requirements
Minimum 24 months of experience as Chief Cook
Previous experience onboard Accommodation Vessels or DP Offshore Vessels
Valid STCW certification package
Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong culinary and food management skills
Excellent organizational and teamwork abilities
Physically and medically fit for offshore service
