This role operates the automated and fixed station keeping system of the vessel and stands navigation watch as required. Responsible for implementing and upholding safety and environmental compliance and requirements.
Responsibilities:
Implement the towing safety management system
Lead the crew and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and safety protocols
Oversee barge and fuel operations
Maintain accurate records of vessel operations and prepare reports as needed
Provide engine room maintenance wheen needed
Keep daily logs
