Job Description:
We are seeking motivated Engine Cadets to join our offshore fleet in Norway. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills and gain hands-on experience under the guidance of experienced engineering professionals in a dynamic offshore environment.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Participate in the operation and maintenance of machinery onboard
• Learn about onboard systems, including engines, generators, and auxiliary equipment
• Carry out routine inspections and maintenance according to safety procedures
• Report operating conditions and any irregularities promptly
• Collaborate with engineering and deck crew to ensure efficient vessel operations
Requirements:
• Valid STCW-78 certificate
• Health certificate from a seaman’s doctor
• Completed technical vocational school or equivalent maritime education
• Good communication skills in Norwegian and English
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
