PT Setya Dharma Maritim Manajemen is currently seeking an experienced Bosun to join a Self Propelled Barge (SPB) equipped with two offshore cranes for an offshore project in Guinea, West Africa.
The successful candidate will supervise deck ratings, coordinate daily deck operations, oversee cargo handling, crane support, mooring activities, and maintenance work while ensuring compliance with company HSE procedures and international maritime regulations.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced Bosuns with previous Self Propelled Barge and West Africa operational experience.
Job Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily deck operations
Lead Able Seamen during maintenance and mooring activities
Assist with cargo handling and crane operations
Plan and oversee deck maintenance and preservation work
Maintain deck equipment and operational readiness
Participate in emergency drills and safety meetings
Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and maritime regulations
Maintain a safe and efficient working environment onboard
Requirements
Valid STCW 2010 certification package (BST MSC 560)
Minimum 24 months of experience onboard Self Propelled Barges (SPB) as Bosun
Previous West Africa experience is mandatory
Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
All certificates valid for at least 18 months
Good English communication skills
Strong leadership and teamwork abilities
Physically and medically fit for offshore service
