We are currently seeking an **experienced Bosun** to join one of our client’s **Research Vessels** for a **temporary contract**.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising deck operations, maintaining deck equipment, and ensuring all safety procedures are followed during vessel activities.

### **Key Responsibilities:**
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Supervising deck crew and assigning daily maintenance and operational tasks.
• Overseeing mooring, anchoring, and deck operations during research activities.
• Ensuring compliance with onboard safety and environmental procedures.
• Performing inspection and upkeep of deck machinery and rigging equipment.
• Assisting the Chief Officer with deck documentation and training of ABs and OSs.

### **Requirements:**
• Valid **STCW certificates** and **Seafarer’s Medical**.
• Minimum **3 years’ experience** as Bosun on **Research or Offshore vessels**.
• Strong knowledge of deck operations and safety procedures.
• Good command of **English communication**.
• Availability for the full contract period.
