Select Offshore is currently seeking an experienced Bosun for Offshore Support Vessels operating in UK waters.
The successful candidate will supervise deck ratings, coordinate maintenance work, oversee mooring operations, and ensure safe deck activities during offshore operations.
This role is ideal for experienced Bosuns with Offshore Support Vessel backgrounds.
Job Responsibilities
Supervise deck crew
Coordinate maintenance and preservation work
Lead mooring and anchoring operations
Monitor cargo and lifting activities
Conduct safety toolbox talks
Ensure compliance with HSE policies
Maintain deck equipment
Requirements
Valid STCW certification package
Previous experience as Bosun onboard Offshore Support Vessels
Valid passport and medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Leadership and organizational skills
Strong safety awareness
Physically fit for offshore work
