A leading offshore company is seeking an experienced Bosun for an upcoming offshore project in Sabah, Malaysia.
The successful candidate will supervise deck crew, coordinate deck maintenance, oversee mooring operations, and support offshore project activities while ensuring safe working practices onboard.
Job Responsibilities
Supervise deck ratings and daily deck operations
Coordinate deck maintenance and preservation work
Lead mooring, anchoring, and cargo operations
Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings
Ensure deck equipment remains operational
Maintain compliance with offshore HSE procedures
Support emergency response activities
Requirements
Malaysian or Sabahan nationality
Valid STCW certification package
Previous offshore Bosun experience preferred
Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong leadership and teamwork abilities
Physically and medically fit for offshore service
