Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Bosun to join a Multi-Purpose Support Vessel (MPSV) operating worldwide. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising deck operations, managing the deck crew, and ensuring safe working practices during marine and offshore operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise deck crew during mooring, anchoring, and cargo operations
• Oversee deck maintenance, painting, and rigging tasks
• Assist with crane and lifting operations
• Ensure all deck operations comply with safety and company policies
• Report directly to the Chief Mate and support the overall vessel operations
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proven experience as Bosun on offshore or MPSV vessels
• Good English communication skills
• Experience with mixed nationality crew preferred
