Atlas Next Wave is currently recruiting an experienced Bosun for a Jack-up Vessel operating in the United Kingdom.
The successful candidate will supervise deck ratings, coordinate deck maintenance, oversee mooring operations, and support offshore activities while maintaining the highest safety standards.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced offshore Bosuns eligible to work in the UK.
Job Responsibilities
Supervise daily deck operations
Coordinate deck crew activities
Oversee mooring and cargo operations
Organize deck maintenance and preservation work
Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings
Ensure compliance with HSE procedures
Participate in emergency drills
Maintain operational readiness onboard
Requirements
Valid STCW certification package
GWO Working at Heights & Manual Handling
HUET, BOSIET or FOET
Chester Step Test
Helideck Landing Officer Training
Eligible to work in the United Kingdom
Previous offshore or Jack-up Vessel experience preferred
Valid passport and medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong leadership and teamwork abilities
