Job Description
PT Setya Dharma Maritim Manajemen is currently seeking experienced Able Seamen (AB) to join a Self Propelled Barge (SPB) equipped with two offshore cranes for an offshore project in Guinea, West Africa.
Successful candidates will support deck operations, cargo handling, crane activities, mooring, anchoring, maintenance work, and safe vessel operations while complying with international maritime regulations and company HSE standards.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced offshore ratings with previous Self Propelled Barge and West Africa experience.
Position Available
Able Seaman (AB) – 6 Positions
Job Responsibilities
Perform navigational watchkeeping duties as assigned
Participate in mooring, anchoring, and towing operations
Support cargo handling and crane activities
Carry out deck maintenance, painting, and preservation work
Maintain deck equipment and safety gear
Participate in emergency drills and safety meetings
Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and maritime regulations
Support safe and efficient offshore operations
Requirements
Valid STCW 2010 certification package (BST MSC 560)
Minimum 24 months of experience onboard Self Propelled Barges (SPB) as Able Seaman
Previous West Africa experience is mandatory
Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
All certificates valid for at least 18 months
Good English communication skills
Strong safety awareness and teamwork abilities
Physically and medically fit for offshore service
