Select Offshore is currently seeking an experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join Offshore Support Vessels operating in UK waters.
The successful candidate will support deck operations, navigational watchkeeping, cargo handling, mooring activities, maintenance duties, and offshore project support while ensuring compliance with international maritime safety standards and company HSE procedures.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced Able Seamen with previous Offshore Support Vessel experience.
Job Responsibilities
Perform navigational watchkeeping duties
Participate in mooring and anchoring operations
Assist with cargo and offshore deck operations
Carry out deck maintenance and preservation work
Operate deck equipment safely
Participate in emergency drills
Ensure compliance with HSE and maritime regulations
Maintain operational readiness onboard
Requirements
Valid STCW certification package
Valid Able Seaman certification
Previous Offshore Support Vessel experience preferred
Valid passport and seafarer's medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills
Physically and medically fit for offshore service
