A leading offshore company is currently recruiting an experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join an upcoming offshore project in Sabah, Malaysia.
The successful candidate will support deck operations, navigational watchkeeping, mooring activities, cargo handling, and vessel maintenance while maintaining compliance with offshore safety standards.
Job Responsibilities
Perform navigational watchkeeping duties
Participate in mooring and anchoring operations
Assist with offshore cargo handling activities
Carry out deck maintenance and preservation work
Maintain deck equipment and operational readiness
Participate in safety drills and emergency response procedures
Follow company HSE policies and offshore regulations
Requirements
Malaysian or Sabahan nationality
Valid STCW certification package
Previous offshore vessel experience preferred
Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong teamwork and safety awareness
Physically and medically fit for offshore service
