Job Description
Novo Sdn Bhd is currently seeking experienced Able Seamen (AB) to join an Accommodation Work Boat (AWB) DP2 Vessel supporting offshore operations in Malaysia Offshore.
The successful candidates will perform deck operations, mooring, cargo handling, offshore support activities, maintenance work, and assist with lifting operations while ensuring compliance with offshore safety standards.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced ABs with previous AWB DP2 or offshore support vessel experience.
Job Responsibilities
Perform navigational watchkeeping duties as assigned
Participate in mooring and cargo operations
Assist with offshore support and deck activities
Carry out maintenance, painting, and preservation work
Operate deck machinery and equipment
Assist during lifting operations
Participate in emergency drills and safety meetings
Follow company HSE procedures and offshore regulations
Requirements
Minimum 12 months of experience as Able Seaman on AWB DP2 or equivalent offshore vessels
Valid Able Seaman Certificate (STCW II/5)
Valid STCW 2010 certification package
Valid OPITO BOSIET
Valid Rigging & Slinging Certificate
Valid passport and offshore medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong offshore operational knowledge
Excellent safety awareness and teamwork abilities
Physically and medically fit for offshore service
