Job Description
Select Offshore is currently recruiting experienced Able Seaman Crane Operators (AB Crane Operators) for several upcoming offshore wind farm and offshore construction projects.
Successful candidates will support heavy lifting operations, cargo handling, offshore installation activities, and vessel operations while maintaining the highest standards of offshore safety and operational efficiency.
Job Responsibilities
Operate offshore cranes safely and efficiently
Execute heavy lifting and cargo handling operations
Conduct pre-use inspections and routine equipment checks
Work in accordance with approved lifting plans
Coordinate with rigging and deck personnel
Support offshore construction and installation activities
Maintain lifting records and operational documentation
Ensure compliance with offshore HSE procedures and lifting regulations
Requirements
General Requirements
Previous offshore experience in the applied position
Valid BOSIET with CA-EBS
Valid GWO Certification
Valid STCW Basic Safety Training (BST)
Valid Designated Security Duties (DSD)
Valid Offshore Medical Certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills
Position-Specific Requirements
Valid Able Seaman Certificate of Competency (AB CoC)
Valid PSCRB Certificate (where applicable)
Experience operating cranes of 25T and above
