An offshore contractor is currently seeking an experienced Able Seaman / Rigger to join a Cable Lay Barge supporting offshore cable installation operations in the Netherlands.
The successful candidate will be responsible for deck operations, rigging activities, lifting support, cable installation assistance, and maintaining compliance with offshore safety procedures throughout the project.
This opportunity is available only to Europe-based candidates who meet the required offshore certification standards and are available to join in early August.

Job Responsibilities
Perform deck and rigging duties during offshore cable lay operations
Assist with lifting and cargo handling activities
Support cable installation and offshore construction work
Inspect and maintain rigging and lifting equipment
Participate in mooring, anchoring, and deck maintenance
Follow lifting plans and offshore HSE procedures
Participate in emergency drills and toolbox talks
Maintain operational readiness of deck equipment
Requirements
Previous offshore experience as AB / Rigger
Europe-based candidates only
Valid OPITO Rigger Certificate
Valid BOSIET / HUET with CA-EBS
Valid GWO Working at Heights (WAH)
Valid OEUK Medical Certificate
Valid STCW certification package
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book
Good English communication skills
Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills
